Welcome back to Barefoot Mysteries. As always, your Barefoot Mystery Junkies, pat and Dave, are here with you for another adventure. I'm Pat, and I'm Dave.

You know, dave, i was thinking about this because we're scheduled to do this podcast And of course, we've all got our schedules every day, but it seems like every day starts with this long list of things we need to do, this to-do list, and that list has us going from the time we wake up until we finally lay our head down on the pillow and close our eyes And then guess what We get, to start it all over again the next day, and then the next day, and then the next day.
Speaker 2:
My problem is as I wake up and I think of more things to add to that list every night.
Speaker 1:
Oh, it's the worst, I hate that. Or to wake up and say I forgot to do this.
Speaker 2:
Well, especially if there's a due date.
Speaker 1:
Oh gosh, no talk about stress. And I think, because we have so much to do everybody is so busy every day of our lives, we have so much to do and not enough time to do it in, and we can't afford to have interruptions that it's become so much more common for us to text our conversations rather than placing a call. It's less intrusive, it doesn't interrupt our routines like phone calls do, and we can check on our messages and respond to them during our own time, on our own schedule.
Speaker 2:
That's true And the other. the only problem I see with text is a lot of times the message I'm trying to give you is not the same as I meant it to be.
Speaker 1:
I know, I know we've had this conversation before. Sometimes there's I pick up a tone that you didn't put there or you pick up a tone and yeah, that can be there, but it is such a time saver that it's very rare unless it's a business call. Even I have found in business more and more people are texting business conversations And you know I would rather do that unless I'm home alone, because I don't want strangers listening to my conversations. I sometimes wonder when I'm out and I'm listening to more than one conversation going on at a time next to me at the grocery store TJ Maxx or Marshalls or wherever I may be, even sometimes just walking through a parking lot.
Speaker 1:
It sounds like they're yelling their conversation, Oh it's so annoying And sometimes they have it on speakerphone So you get to get both sides. you know of the conversations.
Speaker 2:
Just just what you wanted.
Speaker 1:
Yeah, some, some conversations are better left, you know, between the two people. I just don't know if they even realize how many people they're leading into their private lives. Well, have you ever heard of someone eavesdropping on a text conversation?
Speaker 2:
I have not.
Speaker 1:
Of course you haven't, because it's not possible, or is it? And that brings us to today's story, written by Pascal Chatterjee. I came across this story and Dave and I will read it to you. I hope you guys find it as interesting as I did. I mean, it kept my attention and I hope that that when we read it it doesn't it keeps your attention. You don't go Oh my God, just come on, let's get on with it. So let me begin. This is actually called Annie 96 is typing. It is a conversation between Annie 96 and McDavey, and this is what Pascal Chatterby wrote.

While playing around with WhatsApp, i stumbled across a weird chat history between two people, i don't know. It scared the hell out of me. When I tried to find it again, the app crashed and it kept crashing. Luckily, i managed to make a copy Here. It is Good for you. Well, that would have been Pascal, because I'm reading what Pascal wrote.
Speaker 2:

Speaker 1:
